I am not sure this is a bug or not, but it seems like the Fictioneer theme is not working properly with the Gutenberg blocks. I installed plugin called Otter – Page Builder Blocks & Extensions for Gutenberg, and it's not working with the Fictioneer theme. I switched to other themes, including the WordPress default themes, and the plugin worked fine. I also tested with other plugins with similar functions (enhancing Gutenberg blocks), but none of them worked.
The issue is that the block settings and options are available, but none of the blocks are in the inserter. I can't add any of these Otter blocks. Even with the WordPress default Gutenberg blocks, many are missing, like the "cover" and "column" blocks for instant.
I wonder if I did anything wrong during the installation and setup process, or this is meant to be.
Hello! This is indeed on purpose. You can re-enable all blocks and anything added by plugins under Fictioneer > General > Compatibility:
Thank you very much for the fast response! And thank you very much for such an amazing theme! I have been searching high and low for this type of theme that not Madara.
You are welcome.
