From 250eb1f8815303f71c94a5680f8e4f2dcfa25cf5 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Marcelo Ricardo Leitner Date: Fri, 8 Apr 2016 16:41:27 -0300 Subject: [PATCH 1/2] sctp: compress bit-wide flags to a bitfield on sctp_sock It wastes space and gets worse as we add new flags, so convert bit-wide flags to a bitfield. Currently it already saves 4 bytes in sctp_sock, which are left as holes in it for now. The whole struct needs packing, which should be done in another patch. Note that do_auto_asconf cannot be merged, as explained in the comment before it. Signed-off-by: Marcelo Ricardo Leitner Acked-by: Neil Horman Signed-off-by: David S. With this patch it will note that the wake up is pending and will do it before leaving the state machine interpreter, latest place possible to do it realiably and cleanly. Note that sk_data_ready events are not dependent on asocs, unlike waking up writers. v2: series re-checked v3: use local vars to cleanup the code, suggested by Jakub Sitnicki Signed-off-by: Marcelo Ricardo Leitner Signed-off-by: David S.
