c897bbf3a8 mhi: core: Fix find_last_bit() usage 
find_last_bit() relies on unsigned long pointer arguments. Driver
uses a type cast that generates the KASAN warning. Replace
find_last_bit() with __fls() to pass the value and avoid casting
pointer to make the warning go away.

79e9761e1d mhi: cntrl: qcom: remove multiple calls to sysfs_create_group() 
There is a warning due to multiple calls to sysfs_create_group()
function. Remove the second call as it is not required and will
ensure unnecessary warning or error messages are not seen.

83cba826f7 mhi: cntrl: qcom: reset powered_on flag on esoc failures 
Set the powered_on flag to false if any PCIe or MHI power up
failures are seen from the eSOC power on hook. This helps ensure
that if an esoc power off hook is called later on, an MHI power
down is not done without its equivalent power up.

c653a9c150 mhi: core: add mhi_device_get_sync_atomic() to wait until M0 
There is a possibility of client driver's dev_wake request
as part mhi_device_get() racing with M1 state transition
event processing. This can result in a scenario where client
finds MHI state as M0 after mhi_device_get() returns only to
be changed later as M1 event processing is still pending on
different CPU core.
It causes M0 -> M2 -> M0 state transition after mhi_device_get()
has already returned. This isn't expected by client and currently
treats that as fatal error. Also, as per MHI spec host must allow
M1 -> M2 transition for device and it shouldn't abort that.

However, clients can ignore that transition as device is expected
to immediately move from M2 to M0 without entering deep sleep
state. Hence, it must be safe to access their MMIO.
To simplify this logic, introduce mhi_device_get_sync_atomic()
function that can be used by clients to achieve the same and once
it returns success they don't need to have any explicit MHI state
checks.

decc40cefa mhi: cntrl: qcom: Add EDL image to the firmware table 
Some devices support Emergency Download Mode or EDL and could
enter EDL which requires host firmware load path to push the
EDL image to the device. Allow this for tests and debug mode
on all devices except sdx50m as there is no expected use case
for it.

16dd2f0c0e mhi: core: Do a null pointer check before reading debug registers 
Not all registers can be set while dumping debug registers depending
on the state of the device. For example, wake doorbell is not set
until a READY state of the device is reached. Hence, we could access
a NULL pointer while dumping debug registers. Avoid this by adding a
check to skip the addresses which are not yet set.

244b713b56 mhi: core: Enable both time synchronization methods to co-exist 
Due to co-existence of both time synchronization methods on a
platform, it is likely that a doorbell method response can be pending
while another host client requests for time using the MMIO or
synchronous method. Wait for completion of the doorbell method and
return the local and remote times from that request as the device may
not be able to handle both requests or host is likely to end up reading
corrupted time values. Also, ensure the doorbell method request is done
while holding the bus vote so the host stays awake and receives the
response as soon as possible.

09a9f71480 mhi: core: Check for pm error state before asserting dev wake 
After calling remove call back in mhi_pm_disable_transition
there is possibility of MHI client calling mhi_device_get_sync
which increments dev wake. This results in to MHI ASSERT due
to non zero dev wake count. Fix this issue by checking pm error
state before incrementing dev wake count.

MHI controller needs to handle the fatal error callback issued by the
bus in case reset separation needs to be supported. This state will
occur as a SYS ERROR state with the device being in PBL. Perform a

In case firmware request fails to find firmware in default
location, re-try with fall back location. This is done by
adding fall back firmware image location in controller
structure and firmware request is sent again using fall

1d689d8f08 mhi: core: Read transfer length from an event properly 
When MHI Driver receives an EOT event, it reads xfer_len from the
event in the last TRE. The value is under control of the MHI device
and never validated by Host MHI driver. The value should never be
larger than the real size of the buffer but a malicious device can
set the value 0xFFFF as maximum. This causes driver to memory
overflow (both read or write). Fix this issue by reading minimum of
transfer length from event and the buffer length provided.

5e62fe09e5 mhi: core: Fix out of bound channel id handling 
If transfer completion event ring element includes invalid
channel id, driver continues in a while loop without
incrementing local event ring read pointer. This results
into infinite loop. Hence recycle the current element and
move to next event ring element.

27c1f29add mhi: core: improve bandwidth switch events processing 
We may unnecessarily wake up the device when there is no pending
bandwidth switch request. Avoid that by only asserting device wake if
one is pending. We can also have the underlying MHI bus go to suspend
while a device requested bandwidth switch is yet to be processed.
Prevent host suspends by capturing both bus and device votes and
increment pending packets to reject suspends while the processing is
ongoing.

8f553e58a8 mhi: core: improve time synchronization events handling 
Validate event ring accesses before walking special event rings and
update processing time synchronization such that a doorbell is rung and
future requests are queued until a response is received. Also, ensure
events are only processed when they are pending.

5645b68915 bus: sunxi-rsb: Return correct data when mixing 16-bit and 8-bit reads

When doing a 16-bit read that returns data in the MSB byte, the
RSB_DATA register will keep the MSB byte unchanged when doing
the following 8-bit read. sunxi_rsb_read() will then return
a result that contains high byte from 16-bit read mixed with
the 8-bit result.

The consequence is that after this happens the PMIC's regmap will
look like this: (0x33 is the high byte from the 16-bit read)

cf92419582 mhi: core: Make sure reg_write_q stores visible to other cores 
mhi_reg_write_enqueue API stores reg, val and valid which can go
out of order. In case valid is set to true before val is set,
offload worker running on another core ends up writing stale value
to register. Another possibility is valid being set to true but not
visible to other cores. When offload worker gets a chance to run,
this results into skipping register write. Fix these issues by
adding smp_wmb() between stores of val and valid and another after
valid is set.
