Calling smp_processor_id() can be expensive depending on how an arch implements it, so avoid calling it more than necessary. Use the raw variant too since this code is always guaranteed to run with preemption disabled. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``.
