commit 906f9cdfc2a0800f13683f9e4ebdfd08c12ee81b upstream. The term "freeze" is used in several ways in the kernel, and in mm it has the particular meaning of forcing page refcount temporarily to 0. freeze_page() is just too confusing a name for a function that unmaps a page: rename it unmap_page(), and rename unfreeze_page() remap_page(). Went to change the mention of freeze_page() added later in mm/rmap.c, but found it to be incorrect: ordinary page reclaim reaches there too; but the substance of the comment still seems correct, so edit it down. Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
