How to install AdGuard for Safari

AdGuard for Safari is a free app presented in the App Store. To install it on your device, carry out the following steps:

  1. Open App Store and find the needed extension there.
  1. Press the download icon and then the open icon.
  1. You will be offered to check boxes next to AdGuard extensions in Safari settings. Press the button Open settings and mark all extensions.

  1. If you accidentally miss one of them, the extension notification will let you know.

  2. When you complete steps 1-4, AdGuard for Safari will start working. You can now configure its settings!

How to uninstall AdGuard for Safari

To uninstall AdGuard for Safari, do the following:

  1. Quit the app.
  2. Open Safari preferences.
  3. Choose the Extensions tab. You will see a list of extensions, AdGuard has eight.
  1. Uncheck all checkboxes and press the Delete button below any of them.

At this point you will see a notification:

  1. Press Show in Finder and move the extension to bin.

Done! AdGuard for Safari has been removed from your device.
