Very nice. I have not really any way to check this, so I'll merge it in for 5.23.1. You may want to sync with the most recent POT file, though.

I'm planning to release 5.23.1 later today or tomorrow.

Edit: Did you try convert it into an .mo file? This is converted from a .po file to actually work with WP.

Appears to work. Probably gonna put the .po file somewhere else after the merge to avoid having too many large files. If more languages are added, I might need to rethink how to store them or the theme zip file size will become really large. 300-400 KB per language is a lot.

I will update the translation later today, in time for a release tomorrow, syncing the new strings and fixing some typos and consistence issues.

Yes. I have it running on my test installation.
